With our customised GEZE service contracts, we offer you flexible and custom solutions perfectly tailored to your needs. You can rely on the knowledge that your systems will work efficiently at all times, and that any downtimes will be minimised.
We offer you a variety of service contracts:
Compact service contract
The compact service contract is designed to provide perfect service and a quick response to repair requests at reduced hourly rates.
This package offers the following benefits:
- Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains systems in accordance with a defined check list once a year. We recommend maintenance twice a year in emergency exits. A specific system inspection book is provided and updated. Service records are created on-site.
- Safety Check: Once annually, GEZE Service tests the operationally safe condition of all safety and control equipment in the door system in accordance with statutory regulations. The check is documented in the inspection book and a sticker is affixed to the system. If safety-relevant defects are found, we provide a suggestion on how to correct them.
- Reduced hourly rates: We guarantee our maintenance customers will received reduced hourly rates valid at the time work is conducted for repairs or work necessary to correct faults.
This service package does not include the repair or replacement of consumables or defective parts. In agreement with your GEZE representative on-site, our service technician can be exchange/replace these parts, for which you will subsequently be invoiced.
Comfort service contract
The Comfort service contract represents perfect service with even greater convenience for you, plus a further 12-month guarantee.
- Maintenance: GEZE Service conducts maintenance on the contractually agreed systems based on the agreed maintenance cycle (at least once annually) and based on the scope of work carried out. Semi-annual maintenance is recommended for doors in escape and rescue routes or high-traffic areas. GEZE Service documents the inspection certificate in the system-specific inspection book. Service records are created on-site directly at the project and then provided to you afterwards.
- Safety check: GEZE Service conducts inspections to ensure all safety and control equipment in door and window systems is operationally safe (during the maintenance visit) according to applicable regulations at the time in question. The check is documented in the inspection book and a sticker is affixed to the system. If safety-relevant defects are found, we provide an offer for correcting them.
- Extended warranty term: If a service contract is concluded with GEZE Service within three months after commissioning a new GEZE system, then we extend the warranty term by the minimum contractual term.
- Reduced hourly rates: In case of repairs, work to correct faults, conversion measures, or modernisations, you receive reduced hourly rates for systems under contract. The rates for service work conducted under the service contract which are valid at the time work is conducted always apply.
During a maintenance visit, defective or worn wear parts valued at less than 25 EUR are replaced free of charge. If the part value is greater than 25 EUR, then only the value of the wear part is charged, not the work time. Parts are replaced free of charge (with a legitimate warranty claim following inspection) during the extended warranty period.
Comfort PLUS service contract
The Comfort PLUS service contract stands for perfect service with even better comfort and a warranty extension for a further twelve months – materials used during repairs are cost-neutral.

Materials for a repair completed during maintenance are cost-neutral for you². For wear parts, the wear stock in accordance with DIN 31051:2003-06 must be used up before the parts can be exchanged. A system modernisation using a conversion set, or improving the technical condition of a system are not considered repairs, and are not included in the price.
Exclusive service contract
The Exclusive service contract is the complete package from GEZE Service: perfect service at all times at a fixed budget.
This package offers the following benefits:
- Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains the systems annually.
- Safety Check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system (twice a year for escape route doors).
- Reduced hourly rates: We offer you reduced rates for conversions and technical upgrades.
- Work and material costs included: During the contract period, GEZE Service ensures that the value of your system is maintained. All repairs, including all parts and labour, are included in the price, unless the damage was a result of gross negligence or was caused by a third party.
- Available around the clock: The GEZE 24h Service Hotline +49-1802-923-392 (€ 0.06 / calls from all German networks) is available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Rapid fault corrections: Our service technicians will be on site within maximum twelve hours of the fault notification being received: Monday to Saturday from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.
- Inventory management: GEZE Service performs an inventory of all existing systems, and prepares and maintains the system list. We provide test documentation and a system pass for each system. Each system comes with a seal of quality. GEZE Service also coordinates the various different trades and their services.
- Safety guarantee: If a system cannot be repaired, GEZE Service ensures that the relevant access point is secured - engaging a security service if necessary.
- Online access: If you are a customer with an Exclusive contract, you have online access to your project and system data, allowing you to view full and updated performance data at any time.
Vario service contract
GEZE Service has established itself as the expert in industry-specific service concepts. We discuss your individual work procedures with you, and adapt to suit your requirements. It means that you get to determine the scope and intervals of your maintenance services visits. Our Vario service contract means you pay only for the services you actually use. It’s easier on your budget. You also determine the optimal time frame for scheduling maintenance work in your daily routine. So we don’t get under your feet!
